Second parent .psd only :( Croppy snippy time.
Most of this pairing was duplicating the first parent, and masking out the parts individually. All of those veiny bits are the veiny bits masked from the first parent, hue shifted, and then some filter (probably linear light or overlay.. or something. I flip through them all) to make them meld with the background again. I thought I was pretty clev to make the wings transparent so you could see the trunk behind, though it did end up leaving me with not a lot of options for the second babby. The tree, the eye, and the tree's eyes are all cut out and separated for your breeding pleasure.
Believe it or not, the second babby is not a clone. It does look suspiciously clony, but I promise you, it isn't!! All those parts are cut apart again, and the fairy's jewelry recolored. The base of the first parent is the bottom layer, but most of the layers were hue shifted layers from the green parent! I just shifted them so well it ended up looking very much like the first one, though if you look closely you can see that they aren't alike at all. Blah
